Samuel Ellis Jaffe, 77, of Schenectady, N.Y., died March 21. He was the husband of the late Laurie Jaffe. He was born in Schenectady, N.Y. He was called up to active service from the Schenectady Air National Guard. He is survived by his daughters Susan Taylor and her husband Kevin of Millburn, N.J. and Amy Jaffe-Barzach and her husband Peter Barzach of West Hartford; his grandchildren, Daniel, Alyssa and Michael Barzach, and Matthew, Stephanie, and Meghan Taylor. He was also predeceased by his grandson Jonathan Barzach.
