TRUMBULL – Congregation B’nai Torah will celebrate Rabbi Colin Brodie’s 10th anniversary with the congregation at a dessert reception to be held at the Trumbull synagogue on Sunday, April 28 at 7 pm.
“This will be a very special evening celebrating a remarkable man who has enriched the lives of the entire B’nai Torah community.” said B’nai Torah co-president, Beverly Fein. “Rabbi Colin is beloved by all, with a gift for connecting with those of all ages; from our youngest preschoolers and children in our Talmud Torah to our adult and senior members. His personal warmth, outstanding voice and skills as a teacher, spiritual leader and role model for Jewish living have helped enhance the status of B’nai Torah as the thriving center of Jewish life in the greater Trumbull area.”
According to event co-chairs Ellen Mendell and Anita Rosnick, in addition to tributes to the rabbi, the evening will feature the presentation of an original musical “The Journey.”
