Ralph Morton Shulansky, 84, of Palm Desert, Calif. and Bloomfield died Jan. 7. He was the husband of Ruth (Kaufman) Shulansky. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Saul and Edith (Beatman) Shulansky. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, John and Debra Clark Shulansky of West Hartford, Laura and Jerry Nassau of Mamaroneck N.Y., and Debra J. Shulansky of West Hartford; and his grandchildren, Michael and Karah Shulansky, Daniel, Benjamin and Jonathan Nassau, and, Stephen, Carolyn and Sara Gershman. He was predeceased by his sister, Louise Fechtor.
