Stanley Manasevit, age 89, of Fairfield, passed away on January 19, 2013 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Carol Manasevit. Mr. Manasevit was born in Bridgeport, a son of the late Samuel and Nettie Manasevit. He proudly served his country during World War II with the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Along with his cousin, the late Frank Manasevit, he was a co-owner of the Fairfield Store.  Besides his wife, survivors include his loving children, Michael Manasevit and his wife Judy of New Haven, Bruce Manasevit and his wife Maggie McCaffrey of Fairfield, and Sharon Harris and her husband Scott of Easton; adored grandchildren, Lauren Manasevit, Margot Manasevit, Daniel Franklin Harris and Sarah Alexandra Harris. Mr. Manasevit’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to his dedicated caregivers, Donna and Angelina. Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home in Fairfield.  Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y.
