Jewish Home Honors Two Volunteers

FAIRFIELD –Joel C. Coleman of Greenwich and Easton resident Dr. Stewart Gross of Easton were honored by The Jewish Home of Fairfield at the Women’s Auxiliary 2012 Fall Gala on Thursday, Oct. 25 at the Hilton Stamford Hotel.

The Home’s Chairman Bill Sims, paid tribute to Coleman as a community leader and presented him with the Arthur and Gladys Lunin Humanitarian Award.  Cheryl Shulman presented the Louis Lotstein Award for Distinguished Service to Gross for more than 15 years of volunteer service with the Home’s Men’s Club.

“For decades, Joel and Stewart have given their support to the residents of The Jewish Home,” said Andrew H. Banoff, president and CEO of the Home. “Presenting these significant awards gives everyone the opportunity to thank them publicly.”

The Women’s Auxiliary raised more than $100,000 raised at gala, which will go to support the Home’s many programs and services for residents.
