The Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Western CT is sponsoring a Family Traditions Photo Contest this holiday season. Families are asked to share a favorite holiday tradition with the community by showing off their best photo and writing a short description. Winners will receive Amazon.com gift cards as well as a pair of tickets to the March 3 performance of “The Gefilte Fish Chronicles” at the Warner Theatre in Torrington.

The photo contest is open to people of all religions, races and ethnicities. For official rules and to enter visit www.jfed.net. Photos must be submitted online by Dec. 31. Winners will be announced in early February. Entries must be made by an adult 18 years or older. Individuals may submit as many entries as they like but may only win one prize. The Foundation is also sponsoring the Gefilte Fish Chronicles: The Musical at the Warner Theatre. Tickets are now available for a special Sunday, March 3 performance. Bus transportation is also available to and from the theatre.
