Rose (Freedman) Cohen, 101, of West Hartford has died. She was the widow of Lewis I. Cohen. Born in Hartford and raised in Torrington, she was the daughter of Isaac and Fanny (Saunders) Freedman. She is survived by her children, David Cohen and his spouse, Doris Stein Cohen, Carol Cohen, and her spouse Pat Hoffmann; her grandchildren, Bonnie, Sara, Janet and Rebecca; and her great-grandchildren, Brett, Josh, Lewis and Elia. She was also predeceased by her brother, Max Freedman of Hartford, and her sisters, Sarah Angel of Meriden, and Emma Eisenstein of Middletown.
