Roslyn H. Straus, 93, of Hamden died Nov. 1. She was the widow of Henry Straus. Born in New York, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late Nathan Hellman Jr., and Stella Stein Hellman. She is survived by her children, Barbara S. (Bruce) Meyer of Woodbury, N.Y., and Roger (Anita) Straus of Bandon, Ore.; her brother Nathan “Bud” Hellman, III of Los Angeles, Calif.; her grandchildren, Justin Meyer and Seth Meyer; and her great-granddaughter Carrington Stella Meyer. She was also predeceased by her twin sister Jane Bobbe.
