Eugene “Gene” Simon, 77, of Stratford, formerly of Orange, died Nov. 17. He was the husband of Marilynn (Bodner) Simon. Born in Forest Hills, N.Y., he was the son of the late Louis and Helen (Schweitzer) Simon. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rick and Valerie Simon of East Haven, and Meredith and David Meyer of Milford; his sister Harriet Green of Miami, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Evan Meyer.
