“Buy Israel Goods” Week December 1 – 9

“Buy Israel Goods” is a campaign in North America to counter the “Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions” (BDS) movement directed against Israel and stores that carry its products. The annual event is organized in communities across the country by the Israel Action Network (IAN), an initiative of the Jewish Federations of North America, in partnership with the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), to counter the assault on Israel’s legitimacy.
Last November, a Connecticut IAN initiative emerged in New Haven. As one of its initial projects, the New Haven IAN is organizing the Connecticut Buy Israel Goods Week, Dec. 1 to 9, listing retailers who carry Israeli goods on the initiative’s central website: www.buyisraelgoods.org.
