David Baumstein, 96, of Windsor, died Oct. 31. He was the widower of Janet Baumstein. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Dora (Itzkovitz) and Solomon Baumstein. He is survived by his cousins, Susan and Allan Viner of Windsor; and a special friend, Phyllis Levine of Boca Raton, Fla. He was also predeceased by his two brothers, Samuel and Harold.
