About 70 invited guests were on hand to hear Professor Alan Dershowitz talk about a wide range of topics at a special event hosted by the Connecticut office of the Anti-Defamation League on Oct. 22 at Carmel Academy in Greenwich. In a conversation moderated by ADL Connecticut Regional Director Gary Jones, Dershowitz touched on the safety and security of Israel, anti-Israel activity on college campuses, the dangers posed by Iran, the impact of the Arab spring, and more. Calling it an “honor” to listen to the Harvard professor, Jones said, “He is both an intellectual giant and a strong advocate for Israel and the Jewish people. We were especially appreciative of his effusive praise both for the historic and current efforts of ADL to safeguard the civil rights and safety of the Jewish community, Israel and the rest of American society.”
