Elaine (Wachtel) Winer, 89, of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly of West Hartford, died Sept. 21. She was the widow of Sam Wachtel. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Sadie (Richman) Wachtel. She is survived by her children, Shelley (Marty) Teitelbaum (Marty) and Marty (Linda) Winer, all of Boca Raton, Fla.; her grandchildren, Jason (Angela) Kahan, Dana (Matt) Levy, Farren (Madeline) Kahan, Joshua Winer, Gordon Winer, and Lindsey Winer; and her great-grandchildren, Steven and Connor Levy, Stella, Asher, and Eli Kahan. She was predeceased by her son Cary Winer.
