Mark Fishman’s letter (Ledger, Oct. 26) suggesting voters choose Linda McMahon as a balance to a probable second Obama presidency is wrong-headed.
In fact, it perpetuates the problem we faced the past four years, when obstructionist Republicans blocked so many of the President’s efforts to fix the problems in our economy.
Worse, was the Republican motivation for doing so: to make defeating Obama more important than helping our country.
So, as important as it is to re-elect Barak Obama, it is just as important to also elect a Democratic majority in the House and Senate this November, so we can truly fix our serious problems.
Be honest, Mr. Fishman, if you thought Romney’s election was probable, would you instead be supporting Chris Murphy?
