Anita (Schachter) Frankel, 83, of Storrs died Oct. 4. She was the wife of Larry Frankel. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rose (Honig) Schachter. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Bobbie Frankel and her partner Michael Tavani of Woodstock; Nina Frankel and her husband David DiGiuseppe of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and Sara Joan Frankel-Bermel and her husband Guy L. Bermel of Providence, R.I.; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah Simon and Joshua-Shiah Bermel.
