(JNS.org) While the pundits tried to predict which way the political winds were blowing in Ohio, on Oct. 3 the American Jewish Committee (AJC) zeroed in on that swing state’s Jewish voters, polling 238 voters (54% self-identified as Democrats; 19% as Republicans; 26% as Independents).

35% of Ohio’s Jewish voters disapprove of Obama’s handling of U.S.-Israel relations
93% of Ohio’s Jewish voters are “concerned about the prospect of Iran obtaining nuclear weapons.”
45% percent said it is unlikely “a combination of diplomacy and sanctions can stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.” (41% said that combination is likely to work.)
