Glazer

Nathan B. Glazer, 92, of Bloomfield died on Monday (September 3, 2012). He was the widower of Roslyn (Weinstein) Glazer. Born in Syracuse, N.Y., he was the son of the late Julius and Lillian Glazer. He served as a Lieutenant in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII and flew as a radar operator in the Black Widow Night Fighter. He is survived by his children, Elliott (Yung-hwan) Glazer of Houston, Tex., Jeffrey (Bonnie) Glazer of West Hartford, Paula (Howard) Luxenberg of Newington, Robin (Frank) Thyrring of South Windsor; his grandchildren, Erica (Steven) Levine, Melissa (David) Richman, Yvette (Jeffrey) Rose, Geoffrey (Kelly) Luxenberg, Scott (Kelley) Thyrring, Brooke and Pamela Thyrring; his grea-grandchildren, Maxwell Diamond, Vivienne Levine, Jayden and Robert Richman, and Jasper Rose; his brother, Sherwin (Lillian) Glazer; and his brother-in-law, Howard (Rosita) Weinstein. He was also predeceased by his brother, Aaron Glazer.
