Leonard M. Shapiro, 76 of Portland died August 7. He was the husband of Ina (Nussenbaum) Shapiro. Born in New York, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Mollie (Sinder) Shapiro. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Robert Shortell of Portland; his daughter-in-law, Louann Shapiro; and his grandchildren, Jordan and Drew Shortell, and Daniel and Kevin Shapiro.
