Ida Smernoff Marder, 97, of New Haven, died July 17.  She was the widow of Nathan Marder. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of Jacob and Eva Levenson Smernoff. She is survived by her sons, Gerald M. Marder of Guilford and Alan R. Marder of Florida. She was also predeceased by her brothers Abraham Smernoff and George Sands.
