Mother’s Day made special

The Social Action Committee of Beth Sholom B’nai Israel in Manchester made it a very happy Mother’s Day for kids and their moms in the Manchester Head Start program in May, when volunteers from the group laid out a table full of brand new bracelets at the program’s Hollister St. facility and then let each child pick one and have gifts to give to their mothers on Mother’s Day. The children picked out a bracelet and wrapping paper, supplied by the committee, and a volunteer helped each one wrap a gift for mom.
