During her 12 year tenure, Ballantine has been instrumental in the growth of three of the Foundation’s signature programs: the PJ Library – which just delivered its three millionth book in late May; PJ’s sister program in Israel, Sifriyat Pijama, which recently launched a limited program in the U.S.; and the Grinspoon Institute for Philanthropy focused on the Jewish overnight camping sector.
Ballantine is leaving the Foundation to join Richard Levin and Associates, a Boston-based consulting firm, where she will start a new division focused on expanding the firm’s reach to offer executive coaching and organizational consulting in the non-profit sector.
Prior to working with the Foundation, Ballantine was the director of community planning for the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts and a senior planning associate for the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco.
