Dr. Joseph Zimerman of Meriden, 93, died May 16. He was the widower of Elisabeth. He is survived by a son in Rutledge, Tenn. He was born in Vienna, Austria. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the U.S. Army in Europe as Staff Sgt. in the Intelligence Section participating in D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge and the Military Government in Germany until December 1945.
