Phillip Shear, 87, of Newington died May 16. He was the husband of Anita (Arenstein) Shear. He was the son of the late Sol and Minnie (Oliner) Shear. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in Guam with the Army Air Corps. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Susan Beauregard, her husband Mitch, and their three-year-old son. He was predeceased by his brothers, Nathan and Manuel Shear.
