Ruth (Vidaver Wofsy) Firestone, 84, of Newington, died May 19. She was the widow of Malcolm Wofsy and Benjamin Firestone. Born in Saranac Lake, N.Y., she was the daughter of Sadie (Snyder) and Heimy Vidaver. She is survived by her children Sheila Wofsy and her husband Reggie Lenoir of Suches, Ga.,  Pamela Schwartz and her husband Shimon of Far Rockaway, N.Y.; Mike Wofsy and his wife Jeanette of Rocky Hill; Lisa Rydecki and  her husband Craig of Newington; Elliot Firestone and his wife Bonnie of Coventry; her grandchildren: Sara Rivka (Avi) Peltz, Mottie (Michal) Schwartz, Yitzie (Shani) Schwartz, Yechiel ( Tova) Schwartz, Estie (Yakov) Milstein, Meyer Simcha ( Sora) Schwartz, Shloimie Schwartz, Malcolm Wofsy, Jacob Wofsy, Amy Rydecki Bertolini, Jessica Rydecki, Michelle Firestone, Stephen Firestone; 23 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Jerry Klein. She was also predeceased by her sister Freda Joseph.
