Ruth (Joseph) Pollowitz, 99, of Woodbridge, died April 9.  She was the widow  of Reuben Pollowitz. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Barnett and Alice Joseph. She is survived by her step-children, Sylvia Arovas and David Pollowitz; her grandchildren, Jay, Edward, and Jordan Arovas, James and Julie Pollowitz; and four great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sister Jean (Joseph) Mertens and her brother John Calder Joseph.
