Edith Goldschmidt, 104, of West Hartford died March 28. She was the widow of Dr. Myer Goldschmidt. Born in Columbus, Ohio she was the daughter of Phillip and Sarah Gaer. She is survived by her children, Susan (Joel) Ellis of Glastonbury, and Dr. Paul (Janice) Goldschmidt of Farmington; her grandchildren, Naomi Ellis, Debbie Ellis and Karin Rourke; Drs. Matthew and Lauren Goldschmidt, Dr. Jeffrey Goldschmidt and Holly Sena; and three great-grandchildren, Abby Goldschmidt, Marissa Goldschmidt, and Max Sena-Goldschmidt; and her sisters-in-law, Rhea Gaer, Claire Katz. Edith. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Abe and Myer Gaer.
