Sidney Lebowitz of West Hartford died March 23. He was the husband of the late Esther (Stein) Lebowitz. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Louis and Sally (Fish) Lebowitz. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He is survived by his daughters, Janet (Daniel) O’ Connor, Andrea (Carl) Raymond, Donna (John) Glembocki, and Sheri (Todd) Bentsen; his sister, Irma Landerman; nine grandchildren, Michael O’Connor, Deborah O’Connor, Benjamin Persky, Joshua Persky, Naomi Sigell, Brandon Dryburgh, Magan Dryburgh, Carli Dryburgh, and Kim Kurtz; and six great-grandchildren.
