The op-ed by Mitchell Bard (“Uneven Exchange with Saudis” March 16, 2012) is nothing but a piece of political propaganda against President Obama.  Mr. Bard clearly stated in his book, “The Arab Lobby,” that the State Department has been and is still entrenched with Arabists, who have looked the other way, and have been richly rewarded by the Saudis for doing so. So have many ex-politicians who are now functioning as advisors or lobbyists directly or indirectly for the Saudis.  To blame only President Obama for this entrenched behavior is truly being partisan. It makes me wonder who is paying Mr. Bard to write it.
