Eight Ezra Academy alums visited the school recently to chat with students about their experiences since graduating from the Woodbridge day school. The students included (left to right): Shira Winter, a senior at Yale who was valedictorian of her class at Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven; Josh Fein, who just returned from Germany where he spent three years as an opera singer; UConn grad; Batel Isenstein, presently attending New York Medical College; Sarah Oren, a graduate of Binghamton University and a grad student at Southern CT State University, who launched an animal rescue/adoption service here in Connecticut; Taylor Schaefer, an Eagle scout and a senior in the UConn Business School; Amalyah Oren, a student at NYU; Sivan Battat, who attended the Educational Center for the Arts while in high school and is now a freshman at Wesleyan University; and Yoni Battat, a student at Brandeis University where he is a member of the school’s symphony orchestra and klezmer band.
