Morton Blum, beloved husband of Caryl (Edelson) Blum, passed away on Thursday December 29th. He was born in Hartford to the late Harry and Betty Blum and graduated from Weaver High School and the University of Hartford. A Certified Public Accountant, he was a long standing partner of Gitlin, Campise & Co, and was a past president of the West Hartford Rotary Club. In addition to his loving wife of 44 years, he is survived by his devoted children, Steven & Robyn Blum of Baltimore MD, Matthew & Kay Blum of Tulsa OK, and Sara & Jeremy Sholovitz of West Hartford. He was the adored and adoring Pa to his grandchildren Robert, Harrison, Gillian, Jacob and Samuel. He is also survived by his dear sister, Arlene Bernstein of Colchester and several nieces and nephews. The family observed Shiva at their home in West Hartford. Donations in his memory may be made to Congregation Kol Haverim in Glastonbury.
