Miriam ‘Minka’ Katz, 86, of New Britain, died Dec. 11. Born in New York, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Bessie Katz. She is survived by a sister, Shelley (Gerald) Seravalli Cape Coral, Fla.; two nieces, Sandra Yade and Barbra Seravalli; a nephew, David Seravalli; and Tayler and Ethan Yade.
