Joseph Rafalowicz, 86, of West Hartford died Dec. 3. He was the husband of Mary (Szdlowska) Rafalowicz. Born in Lodz, Poland, he was the son of the late David and Malkah (Wolfman) Rafalowicz. He was a Holocaust survivor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Naomi Rafalowicz of West Hartford; and two brothers, Julius Rafalowicz of Howard Beach, N.Y., and Abe Raff of Pearl River, N.Y. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Ann Molly Rafalowicz and by a sister, Chaia Rafalowicz.
