Herbert Gilmont, 81, of New Haven and previously of New York died Nov. 28. He was the widower of Frances Garfinkle Gilmont. He was the son of the late Abraham and Anna Sievitz Goldberg. He was also predeceased by his brother Roger Gilmont and his sister Henrietta Goldberg. He is survived by cousins.
