Selma (Abrams) Hankin, 86, of Hamden, died Nov. 9.  She was the wife of Lester Hankin. Born in New London, she was the daughter of the late Max and Jane (Smith) Abrams. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Ellen Ritt (Aaron Johnson) of Denver, Colo., Carol Batchman of Weymouth, Mass., and Michael Hankin of Meriden; and three grandchildren.  She was also predeceased by her brother, Harold Abrams.
