Kool to be community leaders

Hundreds of guests, including community leaders and local dignitaries, joined the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in honoring four Westport women at a reception on Oct. 27 at Temple Israel in Westport. Cindy Eigen, Lynne Goldstein, Sarah Green and Melissa Shein, founders of the anti-bullying initiative “Kool to be Kind,” received the ADL’s Distinguished Community Leadership Award. The evening also featured a program celebrating twenty years of ADL’s renowned A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute, ADL’s diversity and anti-bias educational programming in Connecticut.
