Ellen Finkel Lurie, 59, of Hamden, died Nov. 2, 2011. She was the wife of Marvin Lurie. Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of Albert and June (McMenamin) Finkel. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Amy (Seth) Schulman of New York, N.Y., and Paul (Lindy) Lurie of Brighton, Mass.; her siblings, Jill Neuman of San Antonio, Tex., Marc Finkel of San Rafael, Calif. and Howard Finkel of Norwalk.
