Matthew Granoff, 83, of Middletown, formerly of Hamden, died Oct. 14.  He was the husband of Christine Meng and the widower of Beatrice (Cohen) Granoff. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Samuel & Sophie (Lettick) Granoff. He was an army veteran serving in Japan with the 181st Medical Battalion during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his children, Bruce (Betty) Granoff of No. Haven, and Lisa (Joe) Anziano of So. Meriden; his brother, Sherman Granoff of Milford, and Alan Granoff of Calif.; and his grandchildren, Samantha Granoff, and Jessica and Jennifer Anziano. He was also predeceased by his brother, Leonard Granoff.
