Edward Schwartz, 84, of San Francisco, Calif. died Oct.15 Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Abraham and Esther Schwartz.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Faith Opsetmoen; and his nieces and nephews, David (Ann) Golden, Mimi Golden (Michael) Landau, Joseph (Caryn) Golden, Anida (Richard) Wartenbe, Robert (Cynthia) Schwartz, and Jonathan (Hannah) Schwartz; and 13 grand nieces and nephews and 10 great-grand-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, William and Harvey, and his sister, Freda S. Golden.
