Joyce (Hershkovitz) Hershman, 87, of West Hartford, died August 23. She was the widow of Saul D. Hershman. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Ginsberg) Hershkovitz. She is survived by her children, Lois (Ian) Lipton of Pottsville, Penn., and Myrna (Michael) Fienman of West Hartford; and her grandchildren, Stacey Lipton, Eric Lipton, Brooke (Randy) Levin and Erica Fienman. She was also predeceased by two sisters Burnette Birnbaum, Florence Hershman, and three brothers, Saul Hershkovitz, Francis Hershkovitz and Lester Hershkovitz.
