Edith (Tibi Birdi) Shomstein, 87, died August 17. She was the widow of Abraham Shomstein. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of Israel and Mollie (Katz) Sokol. She is survived by her children, Bernard Shomstein, Samuel (Linda) Shomstein and Martin Shomstein; her grandchildren, Adam and Elyse; and her great-grandson Mason. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Herbert Sokol and Alfred Sokol.
