Roberta Smith (left) of Beth El Temple in West Hartford recently received the 2011 Woman of Distinction award at the annual spring conference of the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism North Atlantic Region. On hand to see Smith receive her award are Harriet Kantrowitz (next to Smith) and Phyllis Ruth Brody.
