Lillian “Libbie” Freedman of Boynton Beach, FL, and formerly of West Hartford, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2011 at the age of 90. Born in Waterbury to Meyer and Goldie (Matzkin) Goldberg, she was the beloved wife of Joseph Freedman who died in 1996. Libbie owned the Hallmark Personnel Company in Hartford for many years. A cherished mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by daughter Marjorie Feldman and husband Michael of Ottawa; son Roger Freedman and wife Pamela, recently of Farmington, Hilton Head and Palm Beach; son Richard Freedman and wife Ellyn of Manhattan and Miami Beach; grandchildren Mark Feldman and wife, Rabbi Allison Berry; Jon Feldman; Dara Dyer and husband Ross; Landon Chase; Kaitlin and Brenden Freedman; great-grandson Micah Feldman; grand-dog Trey; half-sisters Alberta Swett and Fran Waltman; and devoted caretaker Elvania Charite. Funeral services and interment were held in Boynton Beach on July 12, 2011.
