Mildred (Press) Apter of West Hartford, formerly of Hartford, died May 28. She was the widow of Morris Apter. She is survived by her children, Lora (David) Brody, and Leonard Apter; her grandsons, Jonathan (Tsai Li) Brody, Max Apter (Joanna Frankel) Brody, and Samuel Brody (partner Mary Ann Petti); her great-grandchildren, Benjamin Brody, Julia Brody and Elijah Frankel Brody; her sister Vivian (Phillip) Kaplan, and her brother Irving (Gina) Press. She was also predeceased by her brother Bernard Press and her sister Isabelle Kafka.
