Yosef Friedfertig, 91, passed away on Shabbat, April 2 in New York City. He is survived by his sons, Reuven Perry and his wife Cantor Anita Schubert of Manchester; Gideon Heichal and his wife Daphna of Ramat Gan, Israel; Igal Perry of New York, N.Y.; and Yaron Perry and his wife Pnina of Las Vegas, Nev.; his brother Avraham Friedfertig and his wife Esther of Eilat, Israel; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Klara, three sisters and two brothers. A native of Israel, Yosef came with Klara to the United States in 1984 to live close to three of their four children. They joined the family business in NYC, for which Yosef was working until the last few weeks of his life. He will be remembered as a quiet, righteous, and hard-working man, devoted to his wife and children.
