One hundred and eighty participants met at Congregation B’nai Israel in Bridgeport recently to choose from more than 30 educational sessions offered at Taste of Merkaz, an event that brings together members of the Eastern Fairfield County community for an evening of socializing and adult Jewish learning.  The evening was hosted by Merkaz Community High School for Judaic Studies and sponsored by the Jewish Center for Community Services (JCCS) and the synagogues of Eastern Fairfield County, with funding from UJA/Federation of Eastern Fairfield County.
