Robbie Rosen

Robbie Rosen, a 17-year old high school student from Merrick, Long Island, is in the running to become TV’s next “American Idol.”  Rosen, a straight-A student and a star player on his school’s baseball team, is among the top 24 hopefuls to move on in the competition.  If he makes it all the way, Rosen would become the 10th – and the first Jewish — American Idol.  “People have told me that my style reminds them of Stevie Wonder,” he wrote on his YouTube page.  “That ain’t bad for a Jewish white boy, huh?”
