Senator Richard Blumenthal visited Hebrew Health Care in West Hartford recently to discuss issues that could affect the 110 year-old health care provider and its residents and patients – such as the CLASS Act, senior housing programs and urban, Medicare-Dependent Hospital relief. During his visit, Blumenthal toured the facility and greeted residents. “The Senator was extremely gracious with his time,” said Bonnie Gauthier, the agency’s President and CEO. “He was truly engaged and wanted to understand the issues that could affect our organization and the way we provide care. We look forward to working with his office on these and other critical issues affecting Connecticut’s elderly.”
