Muriel “Mickie” (Gandelman) Friedman, 89, of Hamden died March 1. She was the widow of the late Marcus “Mark” Friedman. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Anna (Moore) Gandelman. She is survived by her children, Sandra Friedman, Nedra Friedman (David) Ruthardt; her grandchildren, Andrea Friedman (Michael) Blair, and Dr. Scott (Anat Leviteh) Weiner; her great-grandchildren, Matan, Maayan, and Omri Weiner, and Lyla Blair. She was predeceased by her brothers Richard and Louis Gandelman.
