Elinor Katz, 89, of Hamden, formerly of Bethany, died on Feb. 9. She was the wife of Richard Katz. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Harry & Sadie (Leberman) Fishman. She is survived by her children, Peter (Storm) Katz of West Haven, and Elizabeth (Reed) Hundt of Chevy Chase, Md.; her grandchildren, Adam, Nathaniel and Sara.  She was predeceased by her brother, Neil Fishman.
