Dorothy H. Shapiro, of Avon, formerly of West Hartford, died Feb. 11. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Fanny Novarr Shapiro. She is survived by her sister-in-law Elynore R. Shapiro; her nephews, Scott B. Shapiro and Leigh H. Shapiro; 10 great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Harold M. Shapiro, sister Eleanor Shapiro, and nephew Mitchell M. Shapiro.
